From Vision to Victory: Logiframe Wins Asia Xero Partner 2025

When I started Logiframe in 2013, our mission was simple yet ambitious: deliver a complete accounting services package tax, payroll, and everything in between  while reimagining how technology could transform the industry.

From day one, I was convinced that the future of accounting lay in the cloud, not in manual spreadsheets or on-premise systems. The challenge? In Indonesia at that time, the concept of cloud accounting was almost unheard of maybe 1% of the market had even started to think about it.

Finding the Right Cloud Partner 

Born in New Zealand, Xero had already attracted the attention of Peter Thiel’s Valar Ventures and was starting to tap into the Silicon Valley network. Around the same time, I explored QuickBooks Online from the U.S. and Sage Business Cloud from the U.K. I tested both Xero and QuickBooks through free trials. Sage never made it to the shortlist no trial access, no partnership response. But within minutes of using Xero, I knew it was different. The interface was cleaner, the navigation more intuitive, and the experience far more user-friendly than QuickBooks Online.

Curious, I dug deeper. QuickBooks had decades of history and near-total U.S. market dominance through its parent company, Intuit. Xero, by contrast, was less than 10 years old an agile startup built entirely for the cloud, powered by a culture of innovation and forward-thinking design.

Reading Xero’s annual reports, I was struck by the caliber of its investors: the founder’s family, the New Zealand Central Securities Depository, the Bank of New Zealand, and Peter Thiel. It was clear that Xero wasn’t just building software  it was reshaping the future of cloud-based financial technology.

One detail that further solidified my trust was discovering that Xero was audited by PwC. Having spent several significant years at PwC, I knew firsthand the rigor and integrity required to earn a clean audit opinion. That connection reinforced my confidence in Xero’s credibility and long-term vision.

Becoming Xero’s First Partner in Indonesia

The turning point came when I reached out to Shaun Burke and asked, “Who is your partner in Indonesia?” His answer: “We have nobody  you’re the first!”

And just like that, the journey began. Working with Chris Antono, our first Asia Xero Account Manager, we onboarded clients across the Indonesian archipelago, bringing the benefits of cloud accounting to businesses of all sizes. Along the way, I met incredible people Karan Khetan, Wouter van der Kolk, Krishnan Menon, Christian Sutardi, Kiren Tanna, Gerard Domènech from Rocket Internet SE Group, Christopher Angkasa, and many others  who became part of this shared mission.

Our belief in the cloud’s power to transform SMEs and enterprises only grew stronger. Partnering with Xero wasn’t just a business decision it was a commitment to bringing world-class financial technology to Indonesia.

Reaching a New Milestone

Last night, that commitment was recognized on the regional stage. Logiframe was named the 2025 Xero Partner of the Year – Asia. This award is not just for us it’s for every client who trusted us, every partner who collaborated with us, and every team member who gave their best to make this vision a reality. Without your trust and support, we would not be here today.

Looking Ahead

I believe Indonesia has the potential to become a professional services leader in Asia, just as Xero grew from a small New Zealand startup into a global tech success story.
