A new clinic every few months. Finance had to see every one of them.

Alpha IVF Indonesia brings the Alpha IVF Group’s fertility treatment to Indonesian families through a network of clinics that has grown quickly since 2025. Logiframe worked with its finance team to redesign the financial workflows on Xero and cloud-based tools, so management works from current numbers.

The client

A Malaysian Fertility Group Expanding Across Indonesia

Alpha IVF Group is a fertility and IVF healthcare group headquartered in Malaysia, co-founded by group managing director Datuk Dr Colin Lee Soon Soo and listed on Bursa Malaysia since March 2024.

Since listing, the group has doubled its full-fledged IVF centres from three to six across Malaysia, Singapore and the Philippines, and it also has a presence in China. In October 2026 it proposed moving its listing from the ACE Market to the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia.

Alpha IVF Centre Indonesia brings the group’s treatment and reproductive technology closer to Indonesian families, including time-lapse embryo monitoring and AI-assisted embryo assessment.

The Indonesian network

  • Pantai Indah Kapuk, Jakarta. The first satellite clinic, opened in May 2025. Satellite clinics handle consultations and fertility assessments, and couples who need full treatment are referred to the group’s centres in Malaysia.
  • Surabaya and Medan. Further satellite clinics, extending the network into East Java and North Sumatra. The Surabaya clinic operates inside the Womba Women’s and Children Specialist Clinic.
  • BSD City, Banten. The group’s first full-fledged IVF centre in Indonesia, opened in October 2026 in the Biomedical Campus of the Banten Special Economic Zone to serve Greater Jakarta. It offers the full range of reproductive services, including laparoscopic surgery, Cryotec vitrification, time-lapse embryo monitoring and AI-assisted embryo assessment, and targets 180 oocyte pick-up cycles in the financial year ending 31 May 2027.
  • Sanur, Bali. A 6,343 square metre centre in the Sanur Special Economic Zone, where ground was broken in December 2025, due for completion in 2027 and covering IVF, obstetrics, gynaecology and care for women and children.

The challenge

Why Finance Got Harder as the Network Grew

As operations expanded, Alpha IVF Indonesia faced fragmented financial processes, manual reporting and limited real-time visibility across operations.

  • Sites with different roles. Satellite clinics that consult and refer, a full centre that treats, and more on the way. Each carries its own costs and revenue, and management needs to see them individually and together.
  • A patient journey that crosses borders. Couples assessed in Indonesia and treated in Malaysia means activity spans the Indonesian clinics and the group’s Malaysian centres.
  • New sites keep arriving. Each clinic has to join the reporting from the day it opens, rather than being added to a spreadsheet later.
  • A listed parent. The group reports as a public company on Bursa Malaysia, so the Indonesian numbers feed a reporting timetable that does not move.

Fragmented processes and manual reporting left management without a real-time view of the business. That was the problem Logiframe was brought in to solve.

What we did

What Logiframe Put in Place

Financial workflows redesigned with the finance team, built on Xero and cloud-based tools, and shaped to scale with the network.

Workflow redesign with the finance team

Logiframe worked closely with Alpha IVF Indonesia’s finance team to redesign and modernize its financial workflows, replacing fragmented processes with a single way of working.

Xero and cloud-based tools

The redesigned workflows run on Xero and cloud-based tools, so financial information sits in one place and is current rather than compiled by hand.

Reporting and financial visibility

Reporting was simplified and rebuilt to give management a clearer view of the clinic’s finances.

Workflows built to scale

The digital workflows were designed around the group’s growth, so the setup supports new clinics as the network expands.

Xero owns the ledger and the reporting. The cloud-based tools around it carry operational activity into it. Each system does the job it is built for, and management reads one set of numbers.

The result

What Changed

Faster reporting, a clearer view of operations, and financial information management can act on while it is current.

  • More efficient reporting. Reporting processes that used to be manual now run on connected workflows.
  • Operational visibility. The finance team has a much better view of operations across the business.
  • Real-time information for decisions. Management has better access to real-time financial information when making decisions.
Aditya Sunarya, Head of Finance at Alpha IVF Indonesia.
