ABOUT LOGIFRAMEClient impact · Travel
Madani Tour & Travel takes Indonesian pilgrims to Makkah and Madinah for Hajj and Umrah. When it came to Logiframe, its books were a year behind and kept in spreadsheets. Logiframe reconstructed the history, brought it current and moved three branches onto Xero in eleven weeks.
The client
PT Madani Prabu Jaya trades as Madani Tour & Travel, a travel company that organises Hajj and Umrah pilgrimages for individuals, families and groups.
The company runs from a head office in Cawang, East Jakarta, with branches including Surabaya and Makassar. It is licensed and accredited by Indonesia’s Ministry of Religious Affairs to organise pilgrimages and is a member of ASITA, the Association of Indonesian Tours and Travel Agencies.
The challenge
When Madani first partnered with Logiframe, its bookkeeping was twelve months behind and its records were still kept in Excel.
For a pilgrimage travel company, a year without current books carries particular weight. The business runs on a cycle that makes timing matter:
With records spread across spreadsheets and a year of entries outstanding, none of those questions could be answered from the books.
What we did
Catch-up, reconstruction and migration ran as one project, completed in eleven weeks.
Stage 1
Rebuild the company’s financial history from the records held in Excel.
Stage 2
Work through the twelve months outstanding until the bookkeeping was up to date.
Stage 3
Move everything to Xero, covering three branches and 1,682 historical transactions.
Catching up before migrating means Xero starts from a history that has already been put right, so the first month in the new system builds on a clean year rather than carrying old errors forward.
The approach is the one set out on our catch-up and clean-up and setup and migration pages.
The result
A clean, reliable financial foundation, and Xero as the accounting system the company runs on every day.
In their words
“When we first partnered with Logiframe, our bookkeeping was 12 months behind, with our records still kept in Excel. The team started by reconstructing our financial history and bringing our bookkeeping up to date, then migrated everything to Xero, covering three branches (Jakarta, Makassar, and Surabaya) and 1,682 historical transactions. The entire catch-up, reconstruction, and migration process was completed in just 11 weeks, giving us a clean, reliable financial foundation for the first time in a long while. Since then, we’ve continued using Xero as our accounting system, and it has made managing our day-to-day finances significantly easier. We’re grateful for the team’s dedication and professionalism throughout this transformation.”
